Packaging & Shipment FAQ

FOB vs CIF — buyer's guide
What packaging is available?
Most grades are supplied in 25 kg or 50 kg PP/BOPP bags, 1 MT jumbo (FIBC) bags, or loose in bulk vessels. Liquid products ship in drums, IBC totes or ISO tanks. The right format depends on the product, the origin's packing capability, your discharge port's handling equipment and how you distribute onward — we confirm options in each offer.
Do you ship in containers or bulk vessel?
Both. Bagged cargo ships in 20ft or 40ft containers as full loads (FCL) or, for smaller quantities, part-container loads (LCL). Large tonnage can move as bulk vessel parcels where the product, load port and discharge port support it. We recommend the format based on your volume, port capability and destination.
Which Incoterms do you offer?
FOB, CFR, CIF and EXW, with other terms considered on request. FOB and EXW suit buyers who control their own freight and insurance; CFR and CIF suit buyers who want a delivered price to their port. Each offer states the Incoterm, named port and estimated shipment window.
Can I get private-label or custom packaging?
Often, yes — but it depends on the origin, the producer's bagging capability and a minimum run per label. We can arrange custom-printed bags with your brand, product specification and language requirements. Artwork, lead time and minimum quantity are confirmed per order.
How much fertilizer fits in a container?
As a rule of thumb a 20ft container carries roughly 25–27 MT of bagged fertilizer, depending on bag size and packing. 40ft payloads depend on product density and legal road and port weight limits, so they are confirmed per shipment. We state the loadable quantity in each offer.
What documents do you provide for shipment?
The standard set includes commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, certificate of analysis (COA) and bill of lading, with MSDS and inspection certificates where applicable. Destination-specific documents such as fumigation or phytosanitary certificates are coordinated according to your import rules.
Can SGS or Intertek inspection be arranged?
Yes. Independent pre-shipment inspection by SGS, Intertek or an equivalent agency can be arranged at the load port, covering sampling, quality analysis and quantity survey. The inspection scope and who bears the cost are agreed in the contract.
Can you ship directly to my destination port?
Yes, on CFR or CIF terms we arrange ocean freight to your named destination port, subject to shipping line and vessel availability. For inland destinations we can advise on the most practical discharge port and transit corridor; onward inland transport is normally arranged by the buyer or their clearing agent.

Product availability, pricing, origin, documentation, and shipment terms are subject to supplier confirmation, destination regulations, sanctions screening, and contract agreement.
